Organise My Decor (“we”, “us”) operates organisemydecor.com.au. This policy explains what personal
information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in
accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Order information — your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery
    address, and the items you ordered.
  • Account information — if you create an account, your name, email address and a
    password, which is stored encrypted.
  • Enquiries — the name, email address and message you send through our contact form.
  • Reviews — the name and comments you submit with a product review, which are then
    published on the product page.
  • Technical information — your browser sends an IP address and browser details with
    every request, and our web host records these in standard server logs.

What we do not collect

This site runs no advertising pixels, no analytics trackers and no profiling tools.

We never receive or store your card details. Orders are paid by direct bank transfer, which happens
through your own bank — card information does not pass through this website at all.

Why we use it

  • To process, pack, dispatch and support your order
  • To answer your enquiries
  • To maintain your account, if you choose to create one
  • To meet our record-keeping obligations under Australian tax and consumer law

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary:

  • Delivery — your name and delivery address go to the carrier handling your parcel.
  • Hosting — our site and its database sit on servers run by our hosting provider.
  • Legal — where we are required by law to disclose it.

Cookies

This site sets only the cookies it needs in order to work: a cart and session cookie so your basket
survives moving between pages, and a wishlist cookie if you save items. There are no advertising or
analytics cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart and wishlist will stop working.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for at least five years, to meet Australian tax record-keeping requirements.
Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Enquiries are kept for as long as they are
relevant.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask
us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email
info@organisemydecor.com.au and we will respond within a
reasonable time.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first. If we
cannot resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at
oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this
page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
